The Concept

The traditional media approach to putting together a televised magazine style show is to over- complicate the programme by setting it in a studio, flying in guests to appear on the show and possibly introduce a live audience.

This idea is innovative because it is a magazine show which is produced remotely by an individual and uses the home environment as a studio space for the presenter led pieces and the guest interviews / demonstrations.

We engage our online community with a separate weekly live virtual quiz night ‘Izzy Wizzy Let’s Get Quizzy!’ that we encourage our viewers to actively participate in and send in messages, photos, videos etc. The media received is reviewed and also included in the weekly Lockdown Show.

As well as building up a dedicated weekly audience during the quiz nights we encourage these viewers to also participate in the Lockdown Show.

The show is escapism for many people isolated at home away from their friends and families. We address issues facing people under the government ‘lockdown’ and offer solutions and advice to individuals and couples looking for something to occupy their time or relieve anxiety and stress caused by the situation and the ongoing current media discussions.

Inigo Ayuso – Mindfulness Expert

Format:

Each show will be a 10-15 minute episode set in a home environment. The show will be structured to the following formula:

Introduction.
Coming up.
News – Positive news and
clips about what is
happening in the world that
is positive.
Expert interviews: A punchy selection of interviews, tips and reviews. Outro and competition.

During all shows we will focus on mindfulness and positive wellbeing and offer solutions to common problems people are facing during these challenging times. Using experts in chosen fields we will draw on their expertise to find solutions.

Each show will also enable guests to make a donation to various NHS and other charities using an independently managed App/platform to take payments.
